Dianna Astor was sitting around here, trying to figure out what to do. Sometimes she wanted a pet, a companion, just to talk to.
Thomas Waller walked by, laughing and talking with a girl. When they saw Dianna, they started giggling. "Loser." Thomas called.
"What?" Dianna jumped up and followed them. "What are you talking about?"
"Oh, nothing." He laughed, walking away.
Dianna went and sat back down where she had been before, trying to figure out what anyone would think she, of all people, was a loser for.
